Groundbreakings
1. The Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe held a groundbreaking ceremony for a 22-unit multifamily housing facility on Paiute Drive. The affordable housing units will range from one-, two-, three- and four-bedrooms. A&K Earth Movers is currently working on clearing the land and installing infrastructure. The next phase will be driven by two general contractors, A&K and Pavilion Construction. The project also features a playground and community building.
Completions
2. Construction of the Nellis Commerce Centerin North Las Vegas has been completed. Panattoni Development Co. was the developer of the 228.7KSF industrial building, which features 17 dock doors, 18 knock-out panels and 48 trailer parking stalls. The industrial property can accommodate up to two tenants. CBRE’s Sean Zaher, Garrett Toft and Jake Higgins are marketing the property.
3. The Wray Family Center Smart Startat the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada in Mindenhas officially opened. The project consisted of renovating three classrooms to provide affordable early childhood education and care for children. Miles Construction completed the renovation. The project was funded by the American Rescue Plan Act and donations from the NV Energy Foundation.
