Groundbreakings
1. The Nevada Department of Transportation is finalizing preparations for its 215 Beltway from Harry Reid Airport Connector to Interstate 15 project. The project consists of repaving a stretch of 215 between Windmill Road and Las Vegas Blvd., as well as introducing new ramps for Las Vegas Blvd., the Harry Reid Airport Connector, Warm Springs Road and Windmill. Construction is anticipated to begin May 19 and be completed during the winter.
Completions
2. Developer Matter Real Estate Group recently completed construction on UnCommons, a mixed-use campus at the SEC of Durango Drive and the 215 Beltway. Construction began in 2020. The campus currently includes four office buildings totaling 350KSF, 60KSF of retail and restaurant space and Vestra, a 352-unit apartment complex. The offices are 93% leased. The retail and restaurant space is more than 90% leased and Vestra is roughly 60% leased. The development has space for more buildings, including a 455-unit apartment complex and potential sites for a new office, hotel or fitness and entertainment space.
3. The remodel of the Nevada Department of Taxation’s south Reno office space, located at 9850 Double R Blvd., is complete. Montane Building Group, in collaboration with Incline Capital Group, remodeled the 11.5KSF space. The project included reconfiguration of the office layout, new finishes, HVAC upgrades and installation of upgraded drywall.
4. Tractor Supply Co. opened a new location in Fernley. The storefront is located at 1200 Fremont St. and includes a Garden Center and pet wash.
