Progress Reports
1. Renovations are progressing on the $600M upgrade of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The three-year project will expand rentable space from 1.9MSF to 2.5MSF and add new concourses, entrances, lighting, signage, restrooms and digital displays. Work is currently focused on the Central Hall and grand lobby. Completion is expected by year-end, with CES 2026 in January 2026 planned as the first major event to use the upgraded space. The contractor group is made up of an AECOM Hunt-Penta joint venture, Miller & Ham Project Development and Klai Juba Wald Architecture and Interiors.
2. Gindi Capital has completed exterior construction on BLVD, a three-level, 400KSF retail complex on the Las Vegas Strip. The project features more than 700 ft of Strip frontage and street-level access. Interior tenant buildouts are underway.
Completions
3. Rampart Casino at the Resort at Summerlin will open a new 50KSF high-limit room on July 3 as part of its $75M multiyear renovation. The project includes upgrades to the hotel, conference center, casino, spa and restaurants.
4. The City of Caliente has completed exterior restoration of the historic Caliente Union Pacific Railroad Depot. The historical building now houses City Hall, the public library and tourism offices. The project was led by Spectra, with exterior work completed ahead of the city’s 75th Annual Memorial Day and Homecoming Celebration.
5. Refined, a new 24-hour gym, has opened at 3019 St. Rose Pkwy. in Henderson.
