Station Casinos is appearing before the Clark County Zoning Commission on Oct. 22 to discuss a new 152.3KSF expansion of the Durango Casino & Resort at 6915 S. Durango Dr. in Spring Valley.

The application lists NP Durango LLC as the property owner. Station Casinosis the developer. Jive Architecture is the architect. Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP is representing the project.

The expansion is set to contain a bowling alley, billiards area, movie theater and restaurant with outdoor seating. Multiple floors would be expanded with the proposed renovation.

Ground floor improvements include the introduction of an entertainment space and additional back-of-house areas. The first floor would feature the bowling alley, billiards room, entertainment room, casino floor, restaurant, patio, common areas, a casino bar and additional back-of-house space.

The mezzanine area would include additional entertainment areas. The second floor would be anchored by the movie theater and would include back-of-house areas to support its operations.

The expansion has a maximum height of 86 feet and will feature an EIFS exterior with faux wood plank finishes, limestone panels, exterior brick walls and corrugated metal paneling. There will also be an operable glass wall system for visual transparency.

County staff has recommended approval of the project. Documents indicate the proposal has until July 30, 2028, to commence construction, otherwise developers will have to apply for an extension.
