Privacy Policy for NVBEX (Nevada Builder’s Exchange)

Effective Date: March 24, 2026

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, USA

At NVBEX (https://nevbex.com), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where applicable.

1. Who We Are

NVBEX is a professional services firm located in Arizona. Our website address is: https://nevbex.com. For any privacy-related inquiries or data requests, please contact us at bex@nevbex.com.

2. Speaker Card Tool & LinkedIn Integration

Our Speaker Card Tool allows event attendees to create and share branded graphics.

  • Permissions: When you choose to log in with LinkedIn, we access basic profile information (such as your name and profile photo) and—only with your explicit permission—the ability to post content to your LinkedIn account (w_member_social).
  • Data Handling: We do not store your LinkedIn password. Limited profile data and temporary access tokens are processed during your active session to enable functionality.
  • Image Processing: Photos you upload are used solely to generate your card in real-time. These images are processed in temporary memory and are deleted shortly after your session ends or the post is published.

3. Media & Comments

  • Comments: When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection.
  • User Media: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can potentially download and extract location data from images on the site.

4. Cookies & Analytics

  • Session Cookies: We use temporary session cookies to keep you authenticated while using the Speaker Card Tool. These are discarded when you close your browser.
  • Analytics: We may use services such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. These services may collect IP addresses and usage data to provide us with reports on website activity.
  • Comment Cookies: If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name and email in cookies for your convenience. These last for one year.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is only shared in the following limited circumstances:

  • LinkedIn Corporation: Your generated image and caption are sent to LinkedIn only when you explicitly trigger the “Post” action.
  • Spam Protection: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated third-party spam detection service.

6. Data Retention

  • Comments: Comment data and metadata are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
  • Tool Data: We do not maintain a persistent database of images or LinkedIn tokens used in the Speaker Card Tool. These are cleared at the end of each session.

7. Your Rights Over Your Data

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you or request its erasure. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.”
