The Southern Nevada chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers has welcomed Chad Langille as its new President. Langille represents 182 members and lead efforts to support HVAC professionals via education, collaboration and development.
Louis Polish Jr. has been elected Chair of the Nevada State Contractors Board for fiscal year 2026-2027. Polish owns Alpha Landscapes LLC and has more than 30 years of construction experience.
Jeff Sutich has been named a member of the Governor’s Workforce Development Board by Gov. Joe Lombardo. Sutich has worked in construction/development policy and economics and is the CEO of the Nevada Builders Alliance.
Adam Teti has joined the Nevada Department of Business and Industry as Administrator of the Division of Industrial Relations. Teti has nearly 20 years of public sector leadership experience and most recently served as Commissioner of the Nevada Transportation Authority.
Knipp Commercial recently surpassed 100 completed school improvement projects across 50 educational campuses throughout the West and Southwest. Knipp has more than $14M in completed and ongoing work this year across Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Texas and Washington, including a $7M, 17KSF new school build. Knipp Commercial Principal Wendy Knipp said the milestone reflects the company’s work helping schools create safer, more functional and modern learning environments, while Director of Construction Ken Mione said the company plans to expand its work in institutional capital improvements, commercial retrofits and campus security modernizations.
Kevin Adams has been named CEO of Blue Heron, taking over day-to-day leadership from founder Tyler Jones, who will remain with the company as Founder. Adams previously advised Blue Heron and Jones for three years while based in Phoenix. He has a background as a CPA and most recently served as CEO of Isagenix.
Martin-Harris Construction has announced the promotions of Wade Pope, Mike Walsh and Frank Joyce. Pope has been promoted to Senior VP of Operations – Northern Nevada, Colorado and Mission Critical. He has nearly 50 years of industry experience. Walsh has been promoted to VP of Operations, Southern Nevada. He has more than 36 years of construction experience. Joyce was promoted to Business Unit Executive, Healthcare. He has been in the industry for nearly 30 years.
Jesse Davis has been promoted to VP of Business Development for Pavilion Construction’s Nevada region. Davis has been with the company for nearly four years.
Stephanie Kirby has been named Executive Director of Southern Nevada Trades High School. Kirby brings nearly three decades of nonprofit leadership, fundraising and community engagement experience to the role.
Joseph Sanford has been appointed County Manager at Churchill County following a unanimous vote Aug. 6 after the resignation of Chris Spross. Sanford previously served as Assistant County Manager/Human Resources Director and was appointed interim County Manager on June 4. He spent 10 years with the county as Chief Civil Deputy District Attorney before moving into his current leadership roles.
