Groundbreakings

1. A groundbreaking ceremony was held for Red Ridge Development’s $450M development in Symphony Park. The project will include a 32-story condo tower dubbed Cello Tower, a five-story apartment complex, retail space and office space.

2. Z Life Co.’s upcoming Midtown Plazadevelopment recently had a groundbreaking ceremony. The $300M development, once concluded, will add six buildings to the Arts District in Las Vegas. The buildings will include condos, hotel rooms and apartments.

3. Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District recently broke ground on Station 35. The 13KSF station will be just north of I-80 and Waltham Way, near a site with frequent vehicle accidents and brushfires. Apple donated land and funding for the station.

Progress Reports

4. Jackson-Shaw recently announced its five-story AC Hotel and Elementdevelopment in Symphony Park will open in September of this year. The hotel will include 441 rooms.

5. A $50M standalone nightlife venue is set to open this summer on the SEC of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road. Bottled Blonde, a partnership between Creation and Evening Entertainment Group, will span 25KSF across three stories and include an open-air rooftop lounge.

Completions

6. Nevada’s first H Mart has opened in Las Vegas. The 53.4KSF store, located at 2620 S. Decatur Blvd., offers Asian groceries, home goods and a food hall.

7. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospitalat 710 Preston Way in Mesquite. The construction lasted for six months.
