Progress Reports

1. The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District will open the new 41.2KSF West Las Vegas Library at 1861 N. Martin Luther King Blvd. on Dec. 9. The facility, built on a 5.3-acre site acquired with support from the City of Las Vegas, replaces the existing branch on West Lake Mead Blvd.

Completions

2. The LGBTQ Center of Las Vegas has completed the three-story Gavin J. Goorjian Community Health Center on Las Vegas Blvd. The new facility adds to the Center’s existing campus and was funded through private donations.

3. Carson City has reopened Sonoma Park following improvements to turf and irrigation systems. Additional construction on a new path and fencing along the east side will continue for several weeks.
