Awards & Accolades

1. The Nevada State Apartment Association named Rowley Real Estate Investor’s Regency Park Apartments as the 2025 Community of the Year. The project won in the fewer than 150 units category.

Groundbreakings

2. The Spooner Transportation Hub project broke ground on May 11. The project consists of a parking hub and watercraft inspection station on State Route 28 adjacent to the Spooner Lake State Park entrance. The Nevada Department of Transportation is administering the project.

3. Blue Skye Development broke ground on the Six on Tin attainable housing project on May 7. Blue Skye is partnering with Larson & Associates Building Company, LLC on the six tiny homes. Each home will be less than 400SF and will cost no more than $300K.

Progress Reports

4. The Poker Palace casino in North Las Vegas is slated to reopen as Club Fortune North in the latter half of June. Truckee Gaming has been renovating the property since purchasing it for $20M in October.

Completions

5. Metcalf Builders, Inc. announced the completion of Line Drive Apartments. The 51-unit apartment complex is targeted toward veterans and adults with disabilities.

6. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for a 22-unit Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe multifamily project on May 1. The $11M project broke ground in January 2025. Units are available to those making a maximum of 50% of the area median income.

7. The Cadence master-planned community just welcomed a new PT’s Gold from PT’s Taverns. The tavern is open 24/7 and located at 903 E. Lake Mead Pkwy. in Henderson.
