The City of North Las Vegas is selling a 19-acre portion of City-owned land to Agora Realty & Management for a multiphase mixed-use project at 2200 Civic Center Dr.
According to Aaron Lefton of Agora Realty, architectural duties are being handled by Premier and SCA Design. A general contractor has yet to be selected.
The mixed-use project will consist of a civic building, a commercial building and a mixed-use complex with a minimum of 100 residential units. According to a press release from the City, Phase One will feature the civic building. Subsequent phases will contain the multifamily mixed-use building.
The One Civic Center project is near Agora’s Fiesta Plaza commercial project on E. Lake Mead Blvd.
The City recently held a press event for the demolition of the old City Hall campus that sits on the site. Once it is razed, the site will be sold to Agora for $1.9K. The site was previously appraised for roughly $13.5M.
The site is expected to generate roughly $112.2M in economic output, with long-term operations creating an annual output of $20.5M. Construction costs have yet to be determined.
The project is expected to span several years. Demolition and construction are expected to be varied out in several phases. Baldwin Demolition is the firm charged with demolishing the site.
The civic building is expected to be completed in Spring 2027.
