Giving Back

1. Huntington & Ellis, an independent real estate brokerage, donated $95.1K to local nonprofits across Southern Nevada in 2025, the largest charitable contribution total in the firm’s history. The milestone year also included 2,496 closed transactions.

2. Mark-Taylor Residential celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025. In honor of this milestone, the group gave back to the community through its iNSPIRE corporate social responsibility program. The program experienced record volunteer participation, as well as expanded community investment and meaningful nonprofit partnerships that strengthened neighborhoods across Arizona and Nevada. Initiatives throughout 2025 raised more than $40K and supported 16 nonprofit partners.

Promotions

3. Jamie Schwartz has been named Executive Director of NAIOP Southern Nevada. She previously served as Director of Business and Industry Engagement for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Office of Economic Development. Schwartz will work with the Chapter’s board and president. Longtime Chapter Executive Katrina Bruce, who led operations for 36 years, and her team at Alternative Management will continue supporting the organization.

New Hires

4. Elizabeth Lopez joined the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance as VP of Business Development & Outbound Strategy on Feb. 9. Lopez most recently worked as an Economic Development Officer for the City of Henderson and previously held similar roles with the cities of Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. She will oversee outbound business attraction and regional expansion efforts for the organization.
