
Lewis Apartment Communities broke ground on Santa Barbara at Kiley Ranch, a 386-unit apartment community in Sparks. The development is the company’s sixth multifamily project in Northern Nevada and its second in Kiley Ranch.
Construction is ongoing on the $2B, 33,000-seat Athletics‘ ballpark on the Las Vegas Strip. The team has launched a mural program that will feature large-scale works by Las Vegas artists on the project’s construction walls throughout the remainder of construction. The nine-acre stadium is scheduled for completion Feb. 29, 2028.
The $25M Nevada State Railroad Museum Visitor Center in Boulder City has entered its final phase, with exterior construction substantially complete and crews finishing punch-list items and handrail installation. Exhibit installation is scheduled to begin in early August, with the 3.8KSF facility expected to open in September, and a grand opening planned for Sept. 19.
Beals-Henderson Pointe, an 80-unit affordable housing community at 5901 Duncan Dr. in Las Vegas, has opened. The Michaels Organization developed the project in partnership with the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority. All 80 apartments are leased.
ROQ Plaza has been completed on a 3.9-acre site in the Spring Valley area of Las Vegas. The five-building, 29.5KSF retail development includes retail, restaurant, automotive service and convenience retail space. VAC Development developed the project, SCA Design was the architect, and Charger Construction, LLC served as the general contractor.
Boyd Gaming has opened Quick Bites, a dual-concept food hall at Suncoast Hotel & Casino. The addition is part of the company’s ongoing renovation of the northwest Las Vegas resort.
