Giving Back

1. Taylor Morrison has launched a construction internship program to help address the industry’s skilled labor shortage. The program offers students hands-on experience in construction management and serves as a pipeline for future talent. Participants assist with jobsite tasks and learn trade skills under the guidance of field professionals, while gaining exposure to career paths in construction.

Boards & Commissions

2. Kent Lay, Division President at Taylor Morrison of Nevada, has been elected chair of the Nevada State Contractors Board for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. Appointed to the board in 2015 by former Gov. Brian Sandoval. Lay previously served as chair from 2019 to 2022. He succeeds Boyd Martin, who led the board for the past three years. Lay brings more than 25 years of residential and commercial construction experience and has served on boards for the Southern Nevada and Arizona Home Builders Association and Home Aid of Southern Nevada.

3. SMPS Las Vegas announced its 2025-2026 Board of Directors. The board includes:

New Hires

5. LOGIC Commercial Real Estate announced two new hires at its Las Vegas office: Scott Donaghe and Adrian Pak. Both new team members previously served with Avison Young and have experience in office leasing, investment sales and tenant representation. Donaghe has more than 18 years of experience. Pak originally started his commercial real estate career in 2017.
