1. The West Las Vegas Library recently received the Community Place award from the Urban Land Institute of Nevada’s ULI Nevada 2025 Placemaking Awards for Excellence. The architect of record was KME Architects. The rest of the design/consulting team consisted of:

Groundbreakings
2. Repairs to the Carson City Aquatic Facility’s plumbing infrastructure began on Dec. 1. Renovation efforts will also replace pool filtration equipment. Work is slated to continue until Dec. 28.
3. Renovations recently began on the Flamingo Las Vegas resort to celebrate its 80th anniversary. Renovations consist of a redesigned lobby with an all-new bar, upgraded VIP check-in area, refreshed public spaces and changes to Bugsy’s Bar on the casino floor. Allard & Conversano Design is the architect behind the renovation.
Completions
4. A grand opening ceremony was held by Nevada State Parks on Nov. 22 for the new Valley of Fire Visitor Center. The building features a museum, gift store and outdoor amphitheater. Exhibit installations are still underway.
