Progress Reports
1. Concord Summit Capital announced it arranged a $781M funding package for the two-tower Four Seasons Private Residences Las Vegas project. Azure Resorts & Hotels, Luxus Developments and Two Roads Development are developing the 171-condo project.
2. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is nearly finished with the $600M renovation of the Las Vegas Convention Center, with work on upgraded halls, new grading and paving between the North and Central halls, pedestrian-protection bollards and interior improvements. The project is set to wrap up in time for a Jan. 5 ribbon cutting ahead of CES. Once complete, the facility will be able to use its full 2.5MSF of indoor exhibit space.
3. Clark County has launched an $18.6M project to upgrade and extend the Western Beltway Trail along the 215 Beltway in the Summerlin area. The project will add a new undercrossing and reconstruct ramps at Charleston Blvd. to eliminate the at-grade crossing and improve safety. The work will also connect trail segments between Peace Way and Fort Apache Road. Construction is expected to finish this summer.
Completions
4. The Clark County Regional Flood Control District has completed the $21.3M Jim McGaughey Detention Basin. The 71-acre-foot facility near Los Feliz Street and East Owens Avenue in east Las Vegas is expected to mitigate flooding near Frenchman Mountain. Construction began in August 2024 and finished last month.
5. Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa has completed the remodel of its Regal Red Rock theater in Summerlin. The project is part of broader property-wide upgrades at the casino-hotel.
6. Cathedral Gorge State Park has reopened Miller Point Overlook following construction that ran from March 17 through Dec. 2. The project delivered safety improvements at the overlook, upgrades along the connecting trail and new restroom facilities.
