Giving Back

1. The PENTA Building Group served as the presenting sponsor of Roseman University’s Hero Scholar Classic, beginning a four-year commitment to support scholarship opportunities for future health care professionals. The Nov. 3 tournament at Red Rock Country Club drew 135 participants, 18 volunteers and 96 sponsors and raised $216.7K. Proceeds benefit Roseman’s Hero Scholars program, which has awarded $480K in scholarships since 2021.

2. The Nevada State Contractors Board is holding its second annual “Tools for Schools” Holiday Drive to collect new or gently used tools for local high school construction programs. Donations are accepted through Dec. 31 at the Board’s Las Vegas office at 8400 W. Sunset Road and at Nigro Construction, at 9115 W. Russell Road.

3. Nevada Realtors announced its 2026 Executive Team, which consists of:

  • Sarah Scattini, from Sierra Nevada Realtors, as President;
  • Grant Meyer, from Incline Village Realtors, as President-Elect;
  • Azim Jessa, from Las Vegas Realtors, as VP;
  • Marissa Lostra, from Elko County Realtors, as Treasurer and
  • Brandon Roberts, from Las Vegas Realtors, as Immediate Past President.

New Hires

4. Ronn Nicolli has been appointed Chief Marketing and Experience Officer at The Meruelo Group, where he will oversee brand strategy, marketing and guest experience initiatives across the company’s portfolio of properties and products.
