The Clark County School District recently broke ground on the $76M Matt Kelly Elementary School replacement campus in Las Vegas’ Historic Westside. The two-story campus will serve approximately 440 students and is funded through CCSD‘s 2015 Capital Improvement Program. KME Architects is the architect, and CORE Construction is the general contractor. The school is expected to open for the 2027-28 school year.
The Stephanie Street Waterline and Infrastructure Improvement Project is expected to begin July 20 along Stephanie Street between Galleria Drive and Wigwam Pkwy. in Henderson. The project combines roadway reconstruction with sewer and reclaimed water pipeline improvements in a single construction effort. Completion is expected in Q3 2027.
Madison Capital Group launched a $36M Qualified Opportunity Zone Fund to help finance the continued redevelopment of the former Harrah’s Reno property into Reno Revival, a 1.3MSF mixed-use project with multifamily, retail, office, entertainment and hotel components, including 292 hotel rooms.
Vertical construction is underway on The Calida Group‘s Ainsley apartment community next to Durango Casino & Resort, along the curve of the 215 Beltway in southwest Las Vegas. The 388-unit, 13-acre development is expected to deliver its first apartments in May 2027.
Metcalf Builders, Inc. has completed Hi-Way 40, the adaptive reuse of a 1949 motel into a 22-unit permanent supportive housing community in downtown Reno. The redevelopment includes community space and on-site support services.
