1. Q&D Construction has opened the N.L. Dianda Skills Academy in Mustang to train union apprentices and upskill employees in excavation, grading and equipment operation. Located on the former Wild West Motorsports Park site, the center honors Q&D co-founder Norm Dianda. The company invested more than $2M in training in 2024.

2. Caliber Hospitality Development has entered a development rights agreement with Hyatt Hotels Corporation to build 15 Hyatt Studios hotels across Ariz., Colo., Nev., Texas and La. Each hotel will include approximately 122 apartment-style suites that target the upper-midscale extended-stay segment. The first two projects will break ground in Georgetown, Texas, in late 2025 and Scottsdale, Ariz., in mid-2026. Caliber estimates the portfolio will add $400M in assets under management over three to five years.
New Hires
3. Mark Nowaczewski and Sakara Ferebee have recently been hired by Street Commercial Real Estate. Nowaczewski serves as an Office Associate. He has experience in finance and construction management. Ferebee is Street Commercial’s new Industrial Associate. She has been involved in more than 50 transactions throughout northern Nevada and has eight years of experience in real estate and business development.
