Groundbreakings
1. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport held an official groundbreaking on March 3 for its MoreRNO Concourse A and B projects. The two new concourses combine for $650M. Cris Jensen, Interim President and CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, said, “This milestone means every project in our MoreRNO Infrastructure Program is now either complete or actively in progress.”
2. EBS Realty Partners and Penwood Real Estate Investment Management broke ground on a two-building 1.4MSF industrial complex in Apex Industrial Park in North Las Vegas. The $175M development spans 91 acres and will be completed sometime in mid-2027.
Progress Reports
3. MGM Resorts expects the pool at the Luxor hotel-casino on the Strip will be completed in July. The newly renovated pool will provide additional deck space. The company noted, however, that the timeline is subject to change.
4. Station Casinos unveiled 37 redesigned suites as part of its renovation project at Green Valley Ranch. The remainder of the year will see renovation efforts turn toward other guest rooms, meeting spaces and public areas.
Completions
5. The Eagles Landing affordable housing complex at 2945 N. Roop St. in Carson City celebrated its opening on March 4. The 126-unit multifamily community prioritizes supporting veterans. The building features a community building, a warming kitchen and an exercise room. Northern Nevada Community Housing was the developer.

The expansion added 3KSF to the building, which created space for a new lobby, a soundproof room, a cat room, a “critter room,” separate laundry rooms, a meet-and-greet room, an isolation room, office rooms and a break room.
