1. Helix Electric announced it held a successful charity golf tournament at the Chimera Golf Club in Henderson. The tournament united local businesses, partners and employees in support of five local community organizations and non-profits. All proceeds from the tournament have been divided between Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada, 22 Warrior Foundation, Those Left Behind Foundation, Little Miss Hanna Foundation and The Gibson McGath Foundation. Helix broke its own records by raising a total of $68K for the charities.

3. Wood Rodgers, Inc. announced promotions for Justin McDougal, Michael Detwiler, Eric Ford and Diane Arkell. McDougalwas promoted to Partner and Principal Engineer. He has more than 14 years of experience in the industry and has been with Wood Rodgers for eight years. Detwiler was promoted to Principal Surveyor. He has 23 years of experience and has worked across the world. Ford was promoted to GIS Analyst. He has more than 20 years of experience. Arkell was promoted to Associate Senior Project Coordinator. She has 40 years of experience in the industry and has been with Wood Rodgers for 15 years.
