The Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents approved a lease agreement for a Nevada State University building in North Las Vegas during its Dec. 5 meeting.
The NSU building is to be part of Agora Realty and Management, Inc.’s 19-acre NLV Gateway development at the intersection of Lake Mead Blvd. and Las Vegas Blvd. North.
The planned academic building will be three stories and total 30KSF. Initial projections indicated it is expected to accommodate more than 2,500 students across 240 courses every term. (NVBEX; Aug. 14)
According to a press release from the City of North Las Vegas, “The North Las Vegas Campus will feature academic programming, workforce development opportunities and student support services.”
Construction of the new NSU building is expected to commence in spring 2026 and begin operating in fall 2027.
NLV Gateway is a public-private partnership between the Cityand Agora. The private developer has invested more than $200M in the master plan. In total, the plan is looking to add more than 200KSF of retail/restaurant space and roughly 125KSF of office/medical office space.
