The Vegas Strong Fund announced it secured the funding necessary to construct phases 1A and 1B of the Forever One Memorial in Paradise.

The memorial is designed by JCJ Architecture. Burke Construction Group is the general contractor. Lifescapes International is the landscape architect, while Thinc Design is the museum & exhibit designer.

Lochsa Engineering is the structural and civil engineer. Bear Label Consulting Engineers is the M/E/P engineer, and Lighting Design Alliance is the lighting consultant.

The fund was created by Clark County officials in 2024. Funds will go toward the creation of a permanent memorial to honor victims of the shooting that occurred on Oct. 1, 2017. In October of last year, funding was at approximately 10% of its goal.

The memorial has been the subject of several NVBEX articles. To view our previous coverage, click here.

The fund received large contributions from Live Nation Entertainment, Clark County, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, MGM Resorts International and the Vegas Golden Knights.

Roughly $7M is still required to fund Phase Two. If the money is raised before fall, the team said all phases will complete construction prior to the grand opening next year. The project website is available here.
