A video was recently released by the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority showcasing new renderings of its more than $650M MoreRNO Concourse Development Project.
The Concourse Development Project features replacing two of the existing concourses as well as two enabling projects: the $9M South Remain Overnight and the $69.5M Central Utility Plant.
The enabling projects are required before construction can commence on the $428M New Gen A&B. The CUP is being constructed by Clark/Sullivan Construction, while Q&D Construction is handling the S.RON project. New Gen is being constructed by McCarthy Building Companies.
The Concourse Redevelopment Project has other elements that have already been completed, such as the new Ticketing Hall and The Loop.

The MoreRNO expansion and its related projects have appeared in several NVBEX articles. To view our past coverage, click here.
Previous renderings showed the Gen A and B concourses. The new release walks through a virtual tour of the plans. The video provides a view of both the exterior and interior of the building.
The concourses will provide more space with higher ceilings. Additionally, larger windows will be installed to give the rooms a more open feel. Components will focus on wood materials with stone accents to appear natural.
Current expectations peg construction for Concourse A to be completed in 2028. Concourse B will then finish construction in 2029.
