The Cliff, a planned commercial development in Henderson, was unanimously approved by the Henderson City Council during its meeting on Tuesday, June 3.

The project is owned by The Cliff LV, LLC. AO is the design firm, and EPG Law Group is representing the project. The open-air shopping district is to be constructed on a 10-acre site that currently holds two office buildings. Nevada General Construction is the general contractor. (NVBEX; May 21)

The office buildings will be repurposed to interweave the interior and exterior portions of the shopping center. According to project representatives, the commercial development is expected to generate up to 1,000 jobs.

While councilmembers have been largely supportive of the concept, the project has had some issues securing approval due to signage.

The Planning Commission approved plans for The Cliff on May 15, but avoided weighing in on the developer’s plans to include two 548SF electronic messaging boards and a 317SF wall sign.

Construction is expected to begin toward the end of the year, with a projected completion date in fall 2026. (Source)
