Awards & Accolades

1. The Associated General Contractors of America named the I-15/Tropicana Avenue interchange project one of the most significant construction projects of 2025. AGC also awarded the contractor, Kiewit, the Baldwin Group Build America Award for the best design-build civil project.

Groundbreakings

2. Contour Homes broke ground on its first Dovetail community near Decatur Blvd. and Lake Mead Blvd. in Las Vegas. Contour is planning several Dovetail-branded townhome communities in the Las Vegas Valley.

3. MYS Firm is holding a ceremonial groundbreaking on April 6 for its proposed 4.2KSF office building at the NEC of Owens Avenue and J Street in Las Vegas. The office building, which was designed by KME Architects, will be constructed on a 0.4-acre site. Construction costs are projected at $2M. Construction is slated to finish in summer 2027.

Completions

4. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held recently to celebrate the opening of the Richard H. Plaster Bridge at Signature Homes’ Paradise Trails housing development. Paradise Trails consists of 29 two-story homes.

5. A portion of Grand Parkat 1001 Kettle Ridge Dr. in Summerlin West recently opened. The entirety of the three-phase park will span 90 acres. The Korte Company was the general contractor, and the park contains baseball fields, pickleball courts, a splash pad, a fitness area, a basketball court and other amenities.
