Groundbreakings

1. Clark County Parks and Recreation has broken ground on Desert Flow Bike Park at Southwest Ridge, a 17-acre bike skills park at the corner of Warm Springs and Fort Apache roads. The project, which began Jan. 28, includes construction of cycling tracks, paved trails and site infrastructure.

2. The Holiday Inn Resort Mesquite held a groundbreaking Jan. 29 for a new water park located behind the hotel. The ceremony was hosted by the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce. The project is being developed by Safari Hospitality, and a construction timeline has not yet been announced.

Progress Reports

3. Caesars Entertainment has launched the second phase of its $200M renovation of Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, formerly Harveys, in Stateline. The first phase of the rebrand was completed last summer and included renovations to the property’s two hotel towers, which now total 1,477 rooms following reconfiguration. The multi-phase renovation is scheduled to conclude by summer 2026.

4. Las Vegas Recovery Hospital has opened on the Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Rosa de Lima campus in downtown Henderson. The facility is 32KSF, holds 68 beds and is Lion Health System’s first facility in Southern Nevada.
