1. Cherry Development announced it is beginning its Path to Homeownership Program. The program is intended to provide assistance to Las Vegas apartment residents seeking to become homeowners. Eligible residents can receive monthly contributions of $200 to go toward the down payment on a new home.

Stephanie Garcia-Vause, City Manager and CEO of the City of Henderson, was named Public Sector Person of the Year at the Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s 25th Annual Economic Development and Small Business Awards. The honor recognizes her leadership in economic development, business growth and major municipal initiatives.
New Hires
3. Anthony Molloy is the new Director of Redevelopment, Economic Development and Tourism for the City of Henderson after serving as interim director for three months. Molloy has worked for the City for 18 years and has nearly 30 years of public service experience. He will oversee strategic planning, implementation and community impact for major public-private development projects.
