Boards & Commissions
1. Walter Flores-Aguirre has been appointed to the Nevada State Contractors Boardby Gov. Joe Lombardo. Flores-Aguirre’s term lasts until Nov. 30, 2027. He also serves on the boards of directors for the Latin Chamber of Commerce, the Discovery Children’s Museum and is a member of the Business Advisory Board at Nevada State University.
Promotions
2. Burke Construction Group promoted Cameron Dean and Ryan Plutchakto Director of Construction. Dean has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He previously served as Senior Project Manager at Burke. Plutchak has more than 15 years of experience and also previously served as Senior Project Manager. The two will continue to grow and expand the operations department.
3. Daniel Millerhas been promoted to Materials Technician Supervisor at Geotechnical & Environmental Services. He has more than 20 years of experience testing and inspecting construction materials. Miller has a variety of certifications in the field.
New Hires
4. Drew McGregorreturned to the Nevada Mining Association as its Communications Manager. Previously, McGregor served as NVMA’s Outreach Manager. In his new role, he will oversee the association’s communication strategy, media relations, community organizations and educational institutions.
