The North Las Vegas City Council approved an application to build a new 181.1KSF Walmart Supercenter at the NEC of Revere Street and West Dorrell Lane.
The Walmart, listed as the Revere Supercenter, will feature a fashion department, baby department, home department, pet department, a pharmacy with a drive-thru, a health services room and a vision center. Plans also make way for the site to include a gas station with a convenience store, and a tavern.
Submitted documents indicate Olympia Companies is the applicant and developer. Kaempfer Crowell is representing the project. Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is providing engineering services.
The justification letter, prepared by Kaempfer Crowell, indicates Walmart is to be located on a 24.2-acre site. The application included an amendment to the master plan and a zone change “to allow a cohesive commercial development.”
Prior to the approval, the site had a master plan designation of Planned Community District and a C-3 zoning. The applicant requested that the master plan designation be changed to Mixed-Use Neighborhood and the zoning be changed from C-3 to C-2.
Developers intend to include multiple accessways from both Revere Street and Dorrell Lane. Upon full build out, the shopping center will feature several retail, commercial and restaurant buildings, totaling an additional 38.8KSF. This brings the grand total of the proposed shopping center to 220KSF.
A 6.5KSF tavern is also proposed on the northwestern end of the site.
The Revere Supercenter is slated to break ground in fall 2026, with an estimated completion of fall 2027.
